Interview With Blacklist Union’s Drummer Sean!

Nicole The Rockin Princess: Thanks Sean for your time I know how busy you guys are!

Sean: No problem Nicole

Nicole The Rockin princess: So tell me a about what’s going on with Blacklist Union?

Sean: We are finishing up our new album “Breaking Bread with Devil” which we plan on releasing this summer.  We are also in the middle of shooting a video for our first single.

Nicole The Rockin Princess: Are you going to release it on the internet?

Sean: Yeah, it will be available on both our myspace and our website.  We will be doing our video premier exclusively on our website.  We should be releasing the single and our video around mid April.

Nicole The Rockin Princess: Awesome I cant wait to here it, I tell ya the first time I herd you guys I was hooked!! So is there Events coming up that you would like to tell us about?

Sean: Yeah we have a show in Austin, Texas the 13th  through the 16th at a huge festival!! We play on Thursday and Saturday possibly on Friday!!  Check out our myspace page myspace.com/blacklistunion for details.

Nicole The Rockin Princess: cool wish I could be there! Sean you play drums for Blacklist Union now who were you with before?

Sean: I was in 8KOunt out of Dayton, Ohio for about three years before I met with blacklist, in fact that’s how I met up with Blacklist union 8KOunt  opened up for Blacklist Union in Ohio, then I saw that they were looking for a drummer, so I called Tony and flew to L.A for an audition and have been with them ever since.

Nicole The Rockin Princess: Were do you see Blacklist Union in five years?

Sean: Filthy rich!! Playing sold out stadiums in Japan, and the U.K. It’s a very good Rock N Roll Market over there.  They love rock n roll and we have gotten a great response from across the pond.

Nicole The Rockin Princess: Awesome I would love to go over there!  Sean it seams like you have a lot of fans pulling for you guys! I see you guys have a lot of St. Teams from all over the world on the Internet, how important do you feel that the Internet is to your Band and future?

Sean: it’s a band’s Life/ Blood anymore, Very important!!! It’s where most of the fans are and can keep up on things coming up like the premier of our video and new c/d!!! I want to thank all our street teams for doing such a great job, we have had such a great response of people wanting to help us and spread the word about us.  We would not be where we are if it wasn’t for them

Nicole The Rockin Princess: Tell me Sean what is playing on your I/Pod or Cd player?

Sean: Back Yard Babies, Opiate for the Masses and Dresden Dolls, I have my ipod on constantly, I hate silence.

Nicole The rockin Princess: I of course have Blacklist in my C/D player as we speak!!

Sean: What’s your favorite song?

Nicole The Rockin Princess: I love After The Morning and Dying to live!! They are my favs!!
What’s the plans for Blacklist Union in the future?

Sean: Right now we are looking for a good Booking Agent and we would like to do some direct support for some of the Bigger bands out there, our main priority is getting a good tour and trying to bring our music to as many places as possible.

Nicole The Rockin Princess : Very cool, yeah my daughter is 11 and she and her friends listen to you guys all the time!! Well Sean I appreciate you taking the time and doing this Interview with me I look forward to the new c/d and seeing you guys in person!!
