Metal Monthly: Hey Chelsea, Thank you for your time and for a little Q&A
Chelsea: Thanks for the opportunity, Tim.
Metal Monthly: I first saw you at namm, I am not sure what year it was, maybe 05, or 06... but you performed at the Peavey booth...You nailed it...Playing the guitar like a true prodigy you played several songs including "Hot For Teacher", and a Joe Satriani tune that most pros can't even play.. when did you pick up the guitar?
Chelsea: I wanted to play a song in church (Greensleeves) and my Dad let me start taking lessons on my 10th birthday.
Metal Monthly: Awesome...They payed off, You were able to play Randy Rhoads Dee ...at like age 11... and you mastered it.
Chelsea: Randy was one of my first influences - I wish there had been more recordings of Randy but what he left were works of art.
Metal Monthly: Yes, you are so right...How were you turned onto this kind of music?
Chelsea: My Dad and Mom listened to Ozzy, Van Halen, and Metallica.
Metal Monthly: Great Parents...Is there one song out there, that you wish you could play, or have you already played it?
Chelsea: I think this is the one I am writing right now.
Metal Monthly: Cool, So What can we expect from Chelsea in the near future, are you currently working on a recording?
Chelsea: Yes, I am currently working on my debut CD plus a possible video project or two.
Metal Monthly: What are you currently listening to on your ipod/cd player?
Chelsea: Lynyrd Skynyrd, ELO, Coleman Hawkins, Django Reinhardt, Johnny Cash, Jerry Reed, Les Paul....to name a few

Metal Monthly: Sweet! Do you currently have any endorsements, or dream Guitar/rigs?
Chelsea: I am really satisfied with what I am currently using. I use a couple of custom shop Fenders and Charvels. As for my amp, I am using a prototype CCV-100 Cameron. Cameron is a brand new company. I also use Robert Keeley effects, Accusound speaker, mic, and guitar cables. I guess less is more.
