Paul You are a living legend, please tell our readers what current projects you are working on/involved with?

I start a 3 month tour (see the tour dates below) so as usual I am very busy on the road. Then I will take a holiday for Christmas and then start another 3 month tour from the end of January onwards.

Having toured the World over, Where would you say that Metal is Most alive, given the passion the fans show?

South America and Italy are the places where Metal is most alive.

You are currently based out of London, When can we expect to see you play live in the States?

Now I no longer live in London as I live in the UK in a place called Salisbury near to stonehenge. Right now I am having trouble with USA Immigration, so I am not sure when I can return to touring USA again. Keep an eye on my website for news: http://www.myspace.com/diannothebeast

How important is the internet these days in promoting your music?

Very important. In fact on my website I feature FREE downloads of lots of my music and videos and lots of info and pics and tour news etc and I have the website updated every 2 weeks so that everyone can see what I am up to. please check out the site: www.myspace.diannothebeast

What are your influences, and what are you currently listening to on your ipod/cd player?

Far too many to list, but mostly Metal-Punk and old sixties pop.

Wrathchild is featured on Guitar hero Video Game, Have you played guitar hero yet? your thoughts?

No, and sorry never heard about it.

Having left Iron Maiden in 1982, Do you keep contact with them, or seen them play live lately (you know they will be at Wacken Open Air 2008)

I am totally out of touch with what the guys are up to as it has been 25 years now you know.

I understand your Book "The Beast" is still doing well.

Yeh apparently so (about time I saw some royalties I guess) and there are reviews (good and bad) of the book on my website
