NICOLE THE ROCKIN PRINCESS: OK WELL THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND DOING A INTERVIEW WITH ME!! TELL ME A LITTLE ABOUT ROCKETS TO RUIN
Chris Taylor: Thank you for doing it.  Well the band has been around for about 3 ½ years.  We're from Atlanta GA....play straight up rock n roll. We released a CD called "love drugs rebellion" produced by Rachel Bolan and are currently in the studio demo-ing some new songs.
NICOLE THE ROCKIN PRINCESS: SO THERE IS A NEW CD COMING IN THE FUTURE?
Chris Taylor: There will be at some point.  I’d love to have something released by the end of the year but we'll see.  Depending on how he new songs turn out we could possibly release it as an EP.  Not sure yet though...
NICOLE THE ROCKIN PRINCESS: WELL ON MYSPACE I HAVE LISTENED TO YOUR MUSIC AND I LIKE THE SONG DEVIL GIRL TELL ME ABOUT THAT SONG?
Chris Taylor: Devil girl was inspired by this girl I saw on some reality show one time.  They had to do some kind of contest and she made the comment that she didn't have any talents, all she wanted to do was stand there and look pretty.  It's about people like her.  They just want to be famous just to be famous.  You know, the Paris Hiltons of the world.
NICOLE THE ROCKIN PRINCESS: LOL YEH. FUNNY. I SEE YOU GUYS ARE PLAYING SOME DATES WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR TOURING IN 2008.
Chris Taylor: No plans to do a tour right now.  Just a bunch of 1 off shows around the South East.  We are going back to Texas in July to play with Jetboy and Broken Teeth. We may add a couple of dates to that.  Waiting on confirmation though.
NICOLE THE ROCKIN PRINCESS: AWESOME THAT SOUNDS LIKE A SHOW I WOULD LOVE TO SEE AND YOU NEVER KNOW MIGHT BE THERE LOL
Chris Taylor: You should come. 
NICOLE THE ROCKIN PRINCESS: WHAT IS YOU PLANS WITH THE BAND FOR THE FUTURE WERE DO YOU WANT TO TAKE ROCKETS TO RUIN?
Chris Taylor: right now we are looking for a manager.  we're talking to a couple of people and hope something works out with one of them.  ultimately we'd love to get a record deal and just go out and tour as much as we can.  regardless, the main thing for us is having fun, writing music together and getting it out to as many people as we can.
NICOLE THE ROCKIN PRINCESS: SO TELL ME CHRIS WHO ARE INFLUENCES?
Chris Taylor: The bands I love are Motley Crue, Monster Magnet, Warrior Soul, Backyard Babies, Ramones, NY Dolls, Faster Pussycat etc.  I basically love 70's / 80's glam and punk and bands that have that vibe. 
NICOLE THE ROCKIN PRINCESS: ME TOO. I LOVE THE 80'S BUT GETTING INTO THE NEW STUFF! WHAT IS PLAYING IN YOUR CD PLAYER/ I-POD RIGHT NOW?
Chris Taylor: Oh man, Crystal Pistol, Babylon Bombs. Clit 45, Hardcore Superstar, Chelsea Smiles, Jesse Malin
NICOLE THE ROCKIN PRINCESS: COOL, SO I HAVE TO TELL YOU GUYS HAVE A AWESOME MYSPACE, HOW IMPORTANT DO YOU THINK THE NET IS TO BANDS THESE DAYS?
Chris Taylor: The net is everything to bands nowadays.  It gives them the power to do things without a label and get their music out to a lot pf people.  I love being able to interact directly with the fans (most of the time haha).  It's been great for us to be able to network with other bands to set up shows in different cities.  I love it. We love being able to do things on our terms.
NICOLE THE ROCKIN PRINCESS: YEH I LOVE THE NET YOU CAN DO ABOUT ANYTHING ON IT, LIKE THIS INTERVIEW LOL SO WHAT DO YOU THINK OF METAL MONTHLY?
Chris Taylor: I love it.  Thanks for helping get the word out on bands like us!
NICOLE THE ROCKIN PRINCESS: HAHA YEH IT’S A GREAT WAY TO GET BANDS INFO OUT THERE!! IF YOU COULD WISH ANYTHING FOR YOUR BAND TO DO OR BECOME IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Chris Taylor: If I could wish for anything for this band would be for us to get a good deal with a label that believes in us.  Get good distribution and tour with cool bands as much as we can.  I love for us to be able to go to Europe at some point to tour.  Fuck, I want everything....haha
