Those of you that remember Billy Squier also remember that although he wasn't known for bringing down the house with heavy tunes, the guy still managed to rock somewhat. After all, he came along in the eighties when MTV videos were all the rage and did a decent job of holding his own. Ironically, that was until this very video came out on MTV. Just take a look at it and you'll probably agree that this indeed killed his career. In fact, he actually admitted several times in interviews that this was a very stupid thing to do. And who are we to argue with Mr. Billy Squier ? We have no idea who choreographed this little number, but we're pretty damn sure it was someone in Pat Benatar's camp. Only problem is, Pat got away with it. Billy got caught in the Super Lame Spotlight. And we don't even have to mention all the PINK and SATIN in a video called 'Rock Me Tonight'. That kinda speaks for itself. |
